inside, each guest receives their own personal landscape. a total of 13 rooms, 10 of which are unique, create a variety of experiences. a focus is placed on localization; the architecture is contemporary but familiar, and fruits/vegetables found on-site are harvested directly for use at the resort. the local climate is taken advantage of to employ a solar hot water system, and IDO went so far as to bring a 10-ton water treatment system and pipe infrastructure to avoid affecting the lake. ‘munwood lakeside’ is located in jiapeng village, erhai lake, dali.
