within the financial district of são paulo, brazil is the recently completed ‘infinity tower’ by new york-based international practice kohn pedersen fox associates and são paulo-based aflalo & gasperini arquitetos. two sails of glass spanning 120 meters in height merge to form the building’s slender profile. floor plates increase in area with each successive storey, increasing the leasable space with ideal panoramic views at loftier heights. horizontal fins wrapping the curved exterior control the sunlight and glare.

at the ground floor, visitors transition from the bustling activity of the 6th most populated city in the world into a tranquil setting of reflecting pools and shaded walkways. surrounded by water, two bridges access the porte cochère.
