under the northern lights lapland-based holiday provider, levin iglut, offer an unconventional micro-accommodation hoping to create the best igloo experience. the company offers two tiers of igloos at present however both promise at least a ‘touch of luxury’. popular with honeymooners, premium models offer an obstructed view of the lapland valley whereas superior igloos, which come with the added option of an extra child’s bed are perfect for families.

the hotel initially launched with only four luxury igloos before realising the spark in popularity and building another 20, resulting in a small complex of these multi-faceted structures. each one of levin iglut’s igloos is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy the cool, temperate conditions of the outside-in, with electrically heated non-fogging glass and an adjustable motorized bed to ensure any chance of seeing the northern lights is not dampened with bad fengshui. as well as wifi to satisfy the bragging needs of social savvy stayers there is also a small kitchen, shower and toilet, and air conditioning…incase the weather forecast isn’t correct?
