LumiPod 6 is a 26 sqm high-end hotel bedroom in the heart of Jura
Four years after the launch of LumiPod, French company LUMICENE continues to expand its high-end cabin concept, offering a new approach to sensory experience in the hospitality sector. The latest project stands in the heart of Jura at Maison Zugno, a five-star hotel near Poligny, where a 26 sqm hotel bedroom has been delicately installed on top of a belvedere. The wooden pod takes shape as a rounded prefabricated structure with a minimalist form blending harmoniously into the landscape. The curved windows and private terrace offer a unique panorama of the valley, achieving a visual and spatial connection to nature. LumiPod has been designed as a high-end hotel room therefore great attention has been paid to the design and choice of materials.

LumiPod is a minimalist cabin focusing on the essential
Embracing a minimalist configuration, LUMICENE’s design focuses on the essentials with no compromise in comfort. LumiPod is conceived and manufactured in the firm‘s workshop near Lyon, France, and is composed of two modules fully assembled off-site and then reunited on site. The front module hosts the bedroom and lounge area, with king size bed and bespoke central unit in natural oak with optimized storage units. The 120° reversible window opens completely to offer an incredible experience of immersion in the surrounding nature. The rear module fits the bathroom with shower, basin, and toilet, as well as floor to ceiling cupboard. Floor and walls are covered with MOSA anthracite ceramic tiles, and bathroom fittings are from AXOR.
