designer mahdi eghbali amlashi envisioned a futuristic village on the moon with a recreational and research approach planned for the next two or three decades. the village will have the capacity to accept 100 people in limited time periods. those people include researchers, tourists, engineers of various sciences, etc. in the age range of 18-60 years with favorable physical conditions.
the designer illustrates his vision with a series of visuals depicting what various functions and programs will look like. the project includes a staging area where people can meet and gather for several purposes, a motion virtual reality game room, a smart solo gym with a private virtual coach, a smart restaurant operated by a robot with vertical access to the downstairs kitchen, and vertical shelves for hydroponic planting.

this village is 80 meters below the lava tube
due to the possibility of meteor showers and solar radiation, and due to the lack of atmosphere on the surface of the moon, this village is located at a depth of 80 meters below the lava tube which is connected to the surface of the moon by a skylight. due to the high cost of transporting materials from earth to the moon, the construction of this complex will be done by 3d printing methods using lunar soil and native materials robots. as a result, according to the issues raised, the establishment of the village of the moon can be a major step in starting interplanetary travel, extraction of extraterrestrial resources, and improving the quality of life of the next generation of humans.
