on friday designboom visited the opening of mansilla + tunon architects ‘playgrounds’ exhibition held at san silvestro, vicenza, italy. the spanish duo luis mansilla and emilio tunon opened their architectural firm in 1992. since then they have designed numerous public and private buildings world wide that include the ‘royal collection museum’, madrid, spain and ‘villa 08’ nanjing, china. curated by abaco architecture the exhibition features over 20 models of projects that the duo have completed and some of which are currently under construction.
