the mirasal housing project emerges from the ground in striking white, in an effort to complement the landscape and contrast with the pink salt lagoons in the distance. views towards the natural park, including the mesmerizing light pink hue of the salt lagoon and the impressive topography, form the context in which balzar arquitectos and julia alcocer have designed the minimalist residential block.

the project by the architects conforms to the perimeter of the site, resulting in a triangular shape with a large interior garden at its center. the design of the building seeks to harmonize with the surrounding topography, mimicking the levels of the natural terrain. the form is characterized by the horizontal planes and white materials used. the building is currently under construction, with an estimated completion date for the first phase in early 2019. recently, two show homes have been finished and fully equipped in order to invite prospective consumers to the complex.
