a Garden home Amidst Urban Density
Vietnam‘s rapidly growing Can Tho City sees the construction of this ‘Nhà Voi & 7 Gardens House’ by locally-based architecture practice Da Vàng Studio. Fit within a compact footprint measuring 4.5 x 23 meters (15 x 75 feet), the dwelling challenges conventional notions of city living. In an urban area characterized by high population density and the continual march of progress, the Vietnamese architects have crafted a luminous, sunlit dwelling that integrates seven indoor gardens.

da vàng studio plants 7 gardens at nhà voi
Da Vàng Studio, the Vietnam-based design team behind Nhà Voi & 7 Gardens House, understands the impact of nature on well-being. Indoor gardens, in this context, are not merely aesthetic features but are vital connective elements weaving together the entire residence. Walls cease to be confinements — instead, they become fluid transitions between the built environment and the natural world, ensuring that every living space remains inextricably linked to the verdant gardens within.
In an era marked by hyper-connectivity through social networks, there is a growing yearning for intimacy and serenity in nature. Nhà Voi & 7 Gardens House emerges to exemplify minimalism in personal living requirements. It offers a retreat from the dense urban living, a sanctuary where visitors can commune with nature and rediscover inner peace. In the face of relentless economic growth and rapid urbanization, this dwelling offers a space to find calm.
