OMA has been given the go ahead for its dynamic vision for the new Nhow amsterdam RAI hotel. chosen ahead of 11 other candidates, OMA’s design illustrates the careful merging of the current RAI complex and an updated look. along with the contemporary cladding, the stacked volumes are angled at particular orientations and will stand at a height of 91 meters with 25 floors. internally, there will be a number of diverse facilities including a multimedia lounge, spa, gallery with a sculpture garden along with a bar, restaurant on the top floor with panoramic views over the city. due to begin construction in the summer of 2016, the completed project will be an addition to the growing array of hotels in amsterdam.
