Time to develop a better version of ETFE. It’s great to have a lightweight product that insulates and provides daylight. But the health impacts of ETFE are suspect at best, primarily due to Teflon. It’s too bad the entire project (which did not include the design featured here) was not approved by the Friends of the Parks in Chicago. It was a LONG battle between the City of Chicago, Friends of the Parks, and Chicago citizens. Lucas has decided to pull the entire project from Chicago and build it in Los Angeles.
