asked to create a room that evolves for a child, P-M-A-A decided to create a collection of rooms instead, composed of the four main pieces: the staircase, the wardrobe, the platform, and the set of cushions. each one of the pieces is different in appearance, and can be paired with other objects without the need to always be directly connected to each other. one version that can be built by combining the pieces together is to join two of them to form a 2×2 m surface occupied by a bed and a bedside table. the third one provides access to the bed and the last one is a cushion where one can lie down to read.
