from its humble beginnings in a reformed crocodile farm, the ‘little creatures brewery’ has grown over the years with australian architect paul burnham‘s latest establishment in fremantle reaching an apex for the company. the new beer brewing and serving establishment contains six different bars, an outdoor harbor-side dining area, bocce court, music venues, a gallery and of course a 24-hour brewery, able to house 1,200 visitors throughout the facility. the creation of beer requires aesthetically industrial processes and materials, which have been left exposed and mirrored in the steel and timber frames, concrete floors, wood fixtures and metal roof.

organized primarily to optimize the brewing process, the expansive spaces mesh hospitality with work, putting the customer in direct contact with a lively working environment as they enjoy the very products made only several yards away. the ends of the three sheds are large curtain walls, opening views to the public park in the north and the fishing harbor to the south. this also allows the interior to be flooded with natural light.
