when commissioned to design the first stationary venue for a well-known food truck in gdynia, poland, PB studio‘s concept was to refer to the characteristic style of the existing brand complementing it with new aesthetic values. the main design element of the food truck, as perceived from its exterior look, is pine plywood, accentuated with the logo printed in black. therefore, to maintain this look-and-feel, the venue’s walls, the tables, seating benches and the shelves were all built out of it, while the black was added in the tiled, herringbone flooring.

plywood plus maroon and green details are the main elements of the design

intense green and maroon were introduced as an additional accent, giving the feeling of a contemporary billiard room with hanging brass lamps that add elegance and shine to the restaurant. an exposed-brick wall painted in fading white, a metal board with scrabble-like keywords and hanging plants, sum up to an enhanced eating experience of a food truck that grew into a stationary venue.
