‘remembering jan kaplicky – architect of the future’ is an upcoming exhibition which will open on july 1st at the design museum, london.

czech architect jan kaplický, who died earlier this year, was responsible for many recognizable buildings worldwide with his firm future systems. the lord’s cricket ground which holds the press box he built with his former partner, amanda levete was their first major project which won the stirling prize. not only did he design buildings he also created solar powered vehicles, electric cars, jewellery, bikinis and double-decker buses. this exhibition will celebrate the work of a gifted architect and designer.
