Wisdom House’s geometric volume faces Escorpión Golf Course

Ruben Muedra Arquitectura’s Wisdom House in Valencia exemplifies minimalist design and modern architectural principles with a purist and formal character. Located in the Torre en Conill urbanization in Bétera, near the Escorpión Golf Course, this detached single-family home sits on a rectangular plot bordered by Rosinyol Street to the southeast, a green area to the south, and the Golf Course to the northwest. The plot covers 900 sqm, while the house spans three floors with a total built area of 832 sqm (1,026 sqm including porches and terraces).

The semi-basement floor is dedicated to leisure and multipurpose rooms, the ground floor houses the day areas in an expansive open-plan space, and the first floor is reserved for the night areas. The house’s minimalist design adheres strictly to modernist principles, featuring sophisticated construction details that enhance its unique character.

The two above-ground prisms of the house respond to the surroundings with large openings facing south and east, providing unobstructed views of the golf course. The ground floor is elevated above the natural ground level to extend these views further. The semi-basement includes 12 main-use rooms, illuminated by large outdoor and indoor patios, along with a ramp and a swimming pool. This design ensures high-quality natural lighting and ventilation while maintaining privacy in spaces such as the gym, indoor swimming pool, multipurpose room, and music room. The semi-basement also includes a large garage for up to seven vehicles.

Ruben Muedra Arquitectura’s design arranges an open layout

The ground floor, nearly open in its layout, has a triple orientation (east, south, west) and integrates the kitchen, living room, dining room, and service rooms in the north block. This space offers 270-degree views of the green zone and golf course and is directly connected to the south and northwest porches.

The first floor houses three master bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and ample storage space, including a dressing room in the master bedroom. All bedrooms feature panoramic views of the golf course, with the master bedroom enjoying a triple orientation. Walkable terraces with glass railings provide views of the entire golf course on both sides of Rosinyol Street.

The exterior includes paved areas, landscaped zones with natural grass, and sections with artificial grass. Ruben Muedra Arquitectura achieves seamless transitions from the paved porches and entrances to intermediate spaces with artificial grass, merging into landscaped areas that connect continuously with the golf course.
