Just in time for ski season, new images of Safdie Architects‘ mountain village community in Killington, Vermont have been revealed. Backed by developer Great Gulf, this unveiling marks a significant step toward realizing the ambitious 450-acre project nestled at the foot of the 4,241-foot mountain. Enveloped by six mountain peaks, the project will introduce a village and luxury residential community shaped by modern architecture and resort-style living. Safdie Architects works together with PWP Landscape Architecture, to ensure a harmonious integration with the natural surroundings. A ski town for all seasons, the plan will include the East’s largest ‘ski beach’ and ski-in / ski-out access within the private confines of a residential community.

Beyond winter, it invites a growing community of summer sports lovers drawn to its mountainous landscape. As pre-construction activities unfold on-site, the development gears up for a pivotal phase.
