pablocorrotopradillo. creates all-white sculptural residence

In the town of Premià de Dalt, Spain, architectural firm pablocorrotopradillo. creates a contemporary family residence that stands out as a sculptural monolith. This structure embodies architectural simplicity and refinement, set against a backdrop of tall pines and rugged coastal terrain. Its design skillfully incorporates voids and segments, forming a harmonious rhythm that reflects the essence of Mediterranean architecture while introducing innovative vernacular techniques and materials. The residence takes into account both ecological and cultural factors to achieve energy efficiency and functionality. It showcases advanced tectonic solutions without unnecessary complexity, while merging with the surrounding ecosystem.

neutral material palette reflects Mediterranean architecture

The Mediterranean House is articulated through interconnected segments, creating a flexible living space where new narratives unfold as one moves through it. Planes and openings successively close off and reveal different visuals, making the structure dynamic and ever-changing. The strategic placement of windows and openings by pablocorrotopradillo. manipulates light to create reflections that blur the boundaries between interior and exterior. The architecture firm chooses a neutral material palette, fostering a harmonious blend with the environment. To fully appreciate this project, one must take time to observe how it reveals new perspectives and maintains a constant dialogue with its setting.
