portugal and italy based-practice silva roth has created ‘angel’s dance’, a manifest of actiographia introduction for twenty-first century theater. represented by line and motion, the design looks to induce and modify the behavior of the space for performing arts. defined by action, reaction and architectonic space, the proposal questions how to translate words into actions and actions into space, what lines can materialize actual spatial intentions and change the state of the theater. left in a state of suspension, the space is intentionally left unfinished as a malleable space that is altered by the users and performers. the building is a social space, physically and psychologically; a landscape of sound and gesture, allowing the creation of new relationships between the performance and its protagonists.
