‘HOME(less)’ topiary garden villa
the duo’s work features photographs shot over a single weekend in january of this year. many were taken on wilshire boulevard, a street that connects the eastern and western sides of the city. once a range of photographs were taken, various architectural typologies — ranging from A-frames to mid-century modernist homes — were overlaid.

‘HOME(less)’ earth house
HOME(less)’ is an optimistic suggestion that contrasts imaginary structures with the harsh realities of life on the streets. viewed in their raw state, they emphasize challenges and opportunities inherent in designing for the largely underrepresented and ever growing population. ‘HOME(less)’ is dedicated to the memory of daren borges (1972 – 2014).
