shoe designer stuart weitzman has debuted the location of his 100th concept store designed by london-based architect zaha hadid. designboom had the chance to check out the latest flagship situated in milano on the prestigious via sant’andrea during milan fashion week. the six-window boutique creates a dialogue between the geometric and fluid lines that flow throughout the ornate 3,000 sqft interior fabric of the store. a series of rose gold dipped fiberglass seats and modular display units showcase shoes enhance the relationship between the customer and the collection. glass-reinforced concrete curvatures focus on special areas for display, supplementing the experimentatal materials and construction methods.
