the show is comprised of chromatic installations that are a result of a collaboration between marco piva and vicky syriopoulou, colour designer at oikos—an italian company specializing in producing a range of paints and varnishes that does not contain any solvents. a collection of seven new oikos colors are debuted in venice, each one displaying the possibility of color customization, with the historic architecture of the venue acts as a perfect backdrop. in addition, there are table displays that offer a survey of selected materials and technical design components that marco piva has employed in his creative practice over the years.

‘designing the complexity: materials, colors, textures’ runs until june 20th, 2016.
