brazilian architecture office studio MK27 has completed the design of caye sereno — an exclusive beachfront residential community in vietnam’s ha long bay. designed by marcio kogan and maria cristina motta, the complex comprises 18 luxury villas that each offer unobstructed views of the basin and its small picturesque islands. the scheme represents vietnam’s aspiration to become a market for luxury residential property development and investment.

cantilevered volumes protrude above spacious poolside terraces

with prices starting at $3 million USD, each 3-6 bedroom dwelling features a private infinity pool in addition to a range of indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces. at ground level, expansive living and dining areas have been crafted using natural materials, while above, cantilevered volumes protrude over spacious poolside terraces.

conceived as ‘an oasis of serenity’, the visual continuity of streamlined concrete slabs is punctuated by natural stone masonry and movable glass walls, providing highly flexible living spaces. the upper levels comprise spacious master suites, each of which affords breathtaking views of the bay. 

the 18 luxury villas offer unobstructed views of the adjacent bay and its small islands
