buenos aires based studio, TACADI, has completed house in perdices in entre ríos, argentina. built in a large park within a farm, the design reinterprets traditional features of rural argentinian homes into very contemporary architectural expression.

during the design process, the key factors to consider were the scale, the patio, the direct relationship with the environment, and the feeling of containment. the final building developed by TACADI aims to strike a balance between its role in the environment and the sense of belonging. from the outside, the house appears vast to fit within the expansiveness of the landscape. however, once inside, a more human scale is realized.

the central patio articulates the house as two lineal sectors, with on one side for the public areas, and the other for private ones. with this floor plan, all the spaces turn outwards toward the landscape to frame views of the horizon. all the rooms are in direct contact with the outside. the bedrooms have their own private semi-covered extension, which allows residents to enjoy a moment of connection with the environment.

the landscape enters the house and crosses it in a non interrupted way. this generates a visual continuity between north and south: from the lagoon, passing through the dry patio, the transparent access hall, the green patio, and the gallery, and finishing off with the infinite view of the field.
