the exhibit is spread throughout the TOTO building including the bookshop space, showrooms and the outer area. planned like a treasure hunt, the third floor exhibition area has been turned into a playground filled with fascinating fragments of torafu architects‘ thought processes. material samples, prototypes to sources of inspiration for products or small objects, dated from past creations or ongoing projects is arranged on a long table without establishing a hierarchy.

on the fourth floor, footage taken from a small train runs on small scale tracks weaving through the tables on the third floor. this device offers a different perspective on the exhibition by navigating in chronological order through an odd collection of objects where visitors can experience a scenery where the items on display emerge as an architectural landscape. projects such as their aesop interiors in korea and japan, to the dōzo bench can be spotted. ultimately, the message in which the architects aim to portray about their work is that no matter how small of a project, they have the ability to impact and inform larger scales typologies and even the outcomes of a city.
