tour odéon: monaco's tallest building nears completion

towering above monaco’s hotels and casinos, the principality’s tallest building is nearing completion – the first significant addition to the region’s skyline since the 1980s. named ‘tour odéon‘, the 170 meter structure will contain 70 apartments ranging from 1 to 6 bedrooms and two sky duplexes totaling 1200 square meters each. situated in a relatively quiet district, the tower overlooks the bustling center of monte carlo and is positioned five minutes from the place du casino. construction on-site began in 2009, with a completion date slated for spring 2015. see designboom’s previous coverage of the project here.
