Social Conscience? It’s a metal box sitting on a concrete plinth masquing as a ‘multi-functional, educational experience’. This is pretentious rubbish of the highest calibre sold with buzz words (play, learn, gather, grow????, spare me) instead of reasoned design. Cheap but not cheerful and made with materials that will harm young children. It is devoid of any semblance of ceativity and demeaning of its users. Anyone that sees ‘social conscience’ in a project like this might need to put down ‘Philosophy for Dummies’ and read a piece or two on practical subjects.
I think the point of the article was more to do with the projects social conscience.
