architecture studio UNIT has designed a prismatic tower by splitting the volume’s façade for A8 music group, a leading chinese download company. located in shenzhen, china, the structure is shaped like a series of sound waves with a bright LED lighting system integrated into the exterior – and is organized like a scriabin keyboard, a method where tones are associated to a color. this synced façade responds to downloaded music data via the company website to become a composer itself and create a constantly changing surface that reveals the invisible world of internet traffic.
