panoramic vistas are available in every guest room so visitors and guests can enjoy the views spanning across the the living, working and leisure compound. the hotel’s restaurant sits on the 50th floor, making it one of the city’s highest dining venues. its prime location in the city of hangzhou makes the hotel a desirable destination for tourists and business people alike.

informed by the hangzhou’s natural landscape, UNStudio’s design of the building also reflects the movement of the adjacent river. the tower’s exterior features a wave-like motion, creating a dynamic facade that enhances the building’s appearance. the design further captures the landscaped character of the city, with sunken plazas and green outdoor terraces on the upper podium floors.

the hotel forms part of raffles city, a mixed-use development that, since its completion in 2017, has become a major landmark in the city. a mix of 24/7 functions occupies two streamlined towers set atop a podium and landscaped plaza. the buildings, one of which hosts the hotel, feature views of the river and west lake areas. conceived as a lively vertical neighborhood and transit hub, raffles city has now become an even more desirable location with the opening of the conrad hangzhou hotel.
