the exhibition appeals to the conceptual repertoires of the found object and to serialized reproductions of pop iconography. entitled ‘I was here’ it shows chilean souvenirs – architecture as fetish, as an object of tourist promotion. the small models are icons of chilean popular architecture like cathedrals, government buildings and market places that have become emblems of the diverse local communities. in addition to them models of 10 of the most representative works of contemporary architecture are featured. curated by mauricio pezo. more: http://iwasthere.cl
