venice architecture biennale 08 preview: finnish pavilion

store and share – museums and libraries in finland

finland / alvar aalto pavilion, giardini, venice september 14 – november 23, 2008

the museum of finnish architecture will be participating in the venice biennale of architecture for the 7th time. they will be showing an exhibition in the finnish pavilion designed alvar aalto. the exhibit, ‘store and share’ will present various museums and libraries located in finland. the show will be accompanied by a 72-page show catalogue. along with the exhibit they are also hosting a free seminar with experts on sustainable architecture on september 15 at the IUAV renovated by carlo scarpa.
