in saint-tropez, france, vincent coste architecte has completed a residential property for a local gallery owner and her husband. located on a particularly narrow site, living accommodation is positioned at the upper level of the property freeing up space at street level. articulated around a large patio, intimately crafted rooms are united around a long pool, providing views of the dwelling and its immediate surroundings. specially developed for the project, the cantilevered upper volume is clad with natural terracotta lending the façades a tactile quality.

  • Beautiful home in a beautiful city. I am curious to know what material is cladding the exterior of the home?
    Nice touch.
