this transient framework consists of donated and salvaged materials that can be recycled after its seventeen day lifespan. tall perimeter partitions block urban noises while the absence of a roof covering directs views skyward creating an introspective experience for those that break away from the surrounding bustling environment. ambient light will softly reflect from the exterior’s translucent polythylene sheeting responding to the continuously shifting conditions. the floor is surfaced with prefabricated rubber introducing the track event into the visitors experience. videos depicting the current and completed events will be projected onto the wall surfaces creating a dynamic and energetic atmosphere.
