located in the heart of the italian dolomites, the illustrious ‘rosa alpina’ hotel and spa has added a new penthouse suite to its repertoire, truly topping out its luxurious offerings. the 160 square meter penthouse includes 3 suites, a fireplace, bar and kitchen all complete with sweeping views of the mountain range. devised by italian architectural studio vudafieri-saverino partners, this oasis of tranquility offers guests the ability to fully retreat from daily life and enjoy the best of northern italy.

for four generations, rosa alpina has set the standard for fine italian hospitality. its location in the dolomites includes a three star michelin restaurant and spa facility, extensive and well regarded for its excellence. the new suite designed by vudafieri-saverino partners features a fusion of traditional materials with modern styles. the scheme embellishes the rooms with colorful design objects — by the likes of fornasetti, tom dixon, and many others — which contrast beautifully with the naturalistic woodwork throughout. a delicate equilibrium between nature and artificial makes this mountainside penthouse harmonize effortlessly with the landscape.
