Pan Pacific Orchard emerges from Singapore’s Claymore Road

Pan Pacific Orchard by Woha Architects, located in Singapore, introduces a pioneering concept for high-rise tropical hospitality. The 23-story, 347-room hotel features open-air architecture with lush greenery across its four distinctive terraces, incorporating guestrooms, social spaces, and gardens. The Forest Terrace at ground level serves as a publicly accessible urban connection between Claymore Road and Orchard Road, featuring a cascading water plaza and greenery. The Beach Terrace, Garden Terrace, and Cloud Terrace each offer unique landscapes and amenities, contributing to the city’s vibrancy.

Woha Architects builds a distinctive open garden

The building’s innovative design replaces 200% of its site area with greenery, enhancing biodiversity. Mirrored ceilings and creeper-clad columns create a visual connection with the neighborhood while serving practical functions such as shading and radiant cooling. Pan Pacific Orchard, designed by Woha architectural practice, has achieved the Green Mark Platinum rating, Singapore’s highest environmental certification, through active systems and passive design strategies that minimize energy and water consumption. The hotel aims to be a distinctive garden hotel and a green icon along Orchard Road.
