Suoi Hai Villa establishes A Harmony of Architecture and Nature

Suoi Hai Villa by APDI Architecture is situated on the outskirts of Suoi Hai Lake, known for its distinctive beehive rocks, and responds to the natural landscape. With a cultural significance tied to the sacred Tản Viên mountain range, the site holds the roots of the Vietnamese legend of Sơn Tinh – Thủy Tinh. The concept centers on two main goals—facilitating human interaction with nature from various perspectives and thoughtfully using local materials, particularly the beehive rock. The design emerges organically from the context, seamlessly blending into the natural landscape. The house is strategically oriented toward the lake to optimize views of the surroundings, with integrated garden structures resembling smaller natural fragments.

APDI Architecture employs local materials for a Natural feel

The design emphasizes a connection between inside and outside, achieved through large glass panels that offer optimal views while ensuring climate solutions for energy efficiency. The single-story volume harmonizes with the landscape, preserving its inherent natural beauty. The design team‘s approach prioritizes a subtle integration with the environment and sustainable use of local resources, aligning with the serene and untouched character of the Suoi Hai Lake setting.
