social responsibility is at the root of ‘my secret garden’ by taiwanese yestudio! the penthouse remodel was done for a christian family who wanted to share their spare rooftop space with the community. the multi-purpose space is able to provide free day care and accommodate gatherings for parties or bible study events.

the area is largely left undefined. an integrated slide, bookshelf and storage system is the soul of the design, from which all activities originate. the spareness allows for flexibility and adaptability of function, thus responding to the vast imaginations of its daily users.

the open layout allows kids to be creative in their activities
