london-based architect zaha hadid of zaha hadid architects will present at this year’s architecture biennale in venice. addressing chipperfield‘s theme of ‘common ground’, the studio will display their work, initially conceived and derived from early movement of russian suprematism, representing alongside the historical strand of research their practice is founded on. their architecture evolved from an algorithmic form generation and the appreciation and integration of organic works completed by the german architect and structural engineer frei otto whom used the structure of material to derive the form. expanding upon his method, the updated technique includes environmental and structural logistics demonstrated with computed digital simulations.
