Yan Group constructs Family-Centric Silom Residence in Sathorn

Silom Residence by Yan Group is a seven-story residential and commercial building situated in the Sathorn district of Bangkok‘s midtown area. The project emphasizes efficient use of space due to the high land value. The primary objective is to establish a family-centric living space, catering to the individual needs of each member to evoke a sense of home. To accommodate the owner’s long-term business plan, retail spaces span from the basement to the second floor, seamlessly integrated into the building design. The design prioritizes privacy and safety by strategically separating public and private circulations from the main residence.

dynamic facade creates an interplay of light and shadow

The facade features a unique close-and-open system with zigzag windows, not only adding dynamism but also providing effective shading. The automated system, powered by motors, enhances user experience and convenience. The family room, characterized by a double space and a private garden at the end of the walkway, contributes to a homely atmosphere. The design team at Yan Group opts for a vertical pattern wall that maintains continuity from the exterior facade to the interior, allowing natural light to permeate the interior spaces for the occupants’ enjoyment.
