three arc-shaped parts intersect to yield two triangles that provide lateral rigidity in the winter passing chair by designers alexandra kehayoglou and maxi ciovich. reclined in a position similar to that of a traditional beach chair, the furniture piece is constructed out of turned cherry wood, incorporating a 30 mm thick woven wool carpet cover. in addition to gently absorbing body weight and creating a comfortable seating surface, a zipper enclosure offers the possibility of removing the back for replacement or cleaning.
