art shanty projects is a five-week exhibition that takes placealong medicine lake in plymouth, minnesota. the event features numerous variations on the traditional ‘minnesotan ice-fishing shed’ – together they present a diverse range of ‘architecture, performances, science, art, zombies, spear-fishing, videos, robots, pinhole cameras, sculpture, knitting, readings and karaoke’. this ‘instant city on ice – part community festival’ is organized and by peter haakon thompson and david pitman and is now in its 4th year. if you would like to attend you’d better get your skates on – this years show will end on the 17th of february! via bldg blog | metropolis
