we have just been introduced to the work of sculptor ana serrano who creates vibrantly colored, detailed cardboard sculptures of buildings which are piled upon one another. her aesthetic is something like a 3-D collage. to create her assemblages, she works with 2-D cut-outs, pasted and built elements using a range of materials.
