for day 18 of ‘better out than in’, british street artist banksy has collaborated with brazilian graffiti artists os gêmeos‬ in a temporary exhibition on west 24th street in new york city. the installation houses two paintings, features a bench, some carpet and complimentary refreshments. ‘are you the sort of person who enjoys going to art galleries, but wished they had more gravel in them?’ if you’re in the area, you can check out the show october 18th through sunday, october 20th from 11am until midnight.

 

the various interventions – which started taking place october 1st – exhibit new artwork throughout the streets of NYC everyday, for 31 days. stay tuned for a recap of banksy’s new work next friday as designboom covers day 19 – day 25.
