the 11th day of UK artist banksy‘s ‘better out than in’ NYC street exhibition has come to a close with ‘sirens of the lambs, a slaughterhouse delivery truck in new york city’s meatpacking district filled with cows, chickens, pigs and lambs – all in the form of stuffed animals. the various interventions, which started taking place october 1st, will see new art showcased everyday throughout the streets of NYC, for 31 days. the latest mobile installation will travel through the meatpacking district for the next two weeks, filling the streets with the innocent echoes of squeaks and squeals.

stay tuned for a recap of banksy’s new work next friday as designboom covers day 12 – day 18.
