for her first comprehensive solo exhibition in germany, ceal floyer has created a number of new works for her ‘show’ exhibition at the KW institute for contemporary art. her conceptual approaches take the forms of work on paper, photographs, sound works, films and readymades. the precision and evocativeness floyer applies to her minimal installations, objects and films challenge our perception. analytically, she lays open the structural character of things. upon their inversion, her objects of interest reveal their quiet poetics.

ceal floyer was born in 1968. she graduated from goldsmiths college in london and currently lives and works in berlin.
