dinah fried: fictitious dishes

‘fictious dishes‘ by dinah fried ‘alice in wonderland’

‘fictitious dishes’ by american graphic designer dinah fried enters the lives of five fictional characters through the medium of food. the project profiles protagonists from well known books, including the ‘catcher in the rye’, ‘oliver twist’, ‘alice’s adventures in wonderland’ and ‘moby dick’, with a photographed meal that reflects the artist’s impression of the story. the concept looks at, not only classic publications, but also contemporary ones such as the ‘girl with the dragon tattoo’, using ordinary everyday objects to create each scene.
