american artist alex george has created a miniature version of disneyland’s ‘main street electrical parade‘, the real-life version of which takes place in magic kingdom park in orlando, florida.

alex george developed the project over the course of two years, designing a scale model of main street, covering olszewski main street miniature float sculptures with LEDs, and engineering the animatronics, which are built into a low table. a homebuilt chain-and-sprocket system drives the movement of the piece, after experimentation that included the use of toy tracks and motorized curtain rails. four sets of wires provide power and network communication for the LEDs.
