‘electrica’ by new york-based designer zipeng zhu is a moving typeface rendered in gif format, which depicts each letter of the alphabet as if it were the digital and high-energy sound of electronic music. the letters are comprised of interconnected rectangles, which rapidly variate through the hot and neon color spectrum. quickly rotating from bright blues, pinks, yellows and greens, the geometric font is a clear reference to the chaotic and frenzied musical style. dizzying and slightly bewildering, we recommend you take a look at the letters from the typeface with caution, below:
