ford f-250s roar on the roads, prowling and towing. fat little ’77 fiats buzz about like lost pandas and a ’68 corvette stingray skids tight to the corners with an alligator behind the wheel in digital artist, frédéric müller’s latest collection, ‘rides of the wild.’

clutch and shift on over to MB&F M.A.D.Gallery for purchasable prints of frédéric’s 3D models, and/or watch his process video near the bottom of this page to see how müller mixes photography with fun 3D fantasies. ‘we always try to incorporate something that makes us, and hopefully those who discover our pieces, smile. frédéric müller’s work does exactly that!’ max büsser, founder of MB&F and the M.A.D.Gallery, says ‘not only is his work impressive and based on vintage cars, a theme close to my heart, but it recaptures a sense of whimsical and childhood that we need to hold on to.’

the 1968 chevrolet corvette stingray should preferably be driven by a professional alligator at breakneck speeds around the track, according to müller‘s G4T0R. the deep emerald paint job is reptilian already, but the corvette’s elongated gator-like snout had to be what sparked this artist’s wild imagination.

the artist also reminds us — courtesy of a thoughtfully placed sticker — that these beautiful wild animals are vulnerable. each customized ride has a world wide fund for nature (WWF) sticker on the windshield. this lion’s concerns are elsewhere, as he carefully backs-in his camper for storage, red flannel sticking to his fur.

of course the ’63 aston martin DB5 gets a voluptuous hippo driver to match its sweeping curves — it makes me wonder what animal my grandfather’s 1980 el camino SS might manifest as. what animal is your car?
