gilbert and george at the tate modern

gilbert and george: major exhibition at: tate modern, london, UK from: 15th february – 7th may, 2007 the exhibition begins with a documentation of the artists legendary ‘living sculptures together with their ‘idyllic nature works’ including the rarely seen charcoal on paper sculptures. this is followed by pictures of increasingly powerful social engagement including the ‘drinking pieces’ and ‘human bondage’ and the infamous, black white and red dirty words pictures of 1977. image:’seed’ 1984
