gloWArp is a multimedia studio based in italy (bari and naples) focusing on new technologies applied to arts. their work ranges from video mapping both indoor and outdoor, video art, audio and visual performances, interactive installations, virtual sets for theater companies, and augmented reality. for this occasion, they decided to revive a cathedral in messina, italy, by projecting images on its façade.

‘souvenir d’artista #messina’ pays tribute to the history of modern and contemporary art through fifteen unique pieces made with mixed media on paper. these art pieces that correspond to different famous artist, are projected into the façade, transforming it into an impromptu work of art. videomapping techniques are used to revive the building, enveloping it with light.
